Cook Islands

The shape of the Cook Islands Language Service derives from the Cook Islands Christian Church, which maintains a pattern planted in the Islands by the London Missionary Society (LMS). Elders lead the majority of the service, with the sermon preached and communion conducted usually by an ordained minister. Since the Cook Islands congregation is part of the parish, its ordering is also governed by the Presbyterian Book of Order.
